ABOUT RUVIXX

Ruvixx is SaaS platform designed to streamline IP licensing and brand protection workflows. Ruvixx centralizes data and project management across internal teams and external partners through a platform with modern collaborative tools, strong data management capabilities, impactful analytics and access to targeted external data.

MY ROLE

I was brought onto the team to:

  • Create an interface that allows for customization over AI-based algorithms

  • Create an ecosystem for various pipelines and user roles

  • Create dashboards to organize complex data sets

  • Redesign their B2C website and refresh their brand aesthetic

WHAT I INHERITED

Ruvixx 1.0 provided solutions to specific challenges the IP licensing and brand protection industry faced, however, the overall usability and user experience needed improvements if the platform was to remain competitive in this landscape.

  • A way to analyze data more efficiently and accurately

  • A pipeline for discovering new leads and tracking old leads

  • An easy way to communicate and collaborate with other users

  • An easier-to-use platform that looks modern

  • Customizable views to scan pages faster

  • Dashboards that surface relevant data

THE WORKFLOW ISSUE

Since we shared an office with our legacy users, I had access to their feedback on a daily basis. From our day-to-day conversations, we distilled the main issue and discovered their main workflow issue:

THE WORKFLOW SOLUTION

We understood that whatever Ruvixx 2.0 was going to be, it was going to have to act as a giant data funnel that could integrate with a client's existing system to leverage both internal and external data to:

  • Synthesize information into insights, organize and monitor revenue reports, and capture new leads, which allows users to..

  • Easily define which leads are valuable by crosschecking with insights to make informed decisions, which leads to..

  • More frequent projects where tasks can be delegated to teams in a collborative space, which means..

  • Organizations can gain back revenue on their IP and better protect their brand.

BUT FIRST...

We need to figure out what bits and pieces of data are the most valuable for our users. This led to the concept of Signals - an automated feature that encapsulates pre-synthesized data that can be referenced across Ruvixx incidents and projects.
